Adapted Dressage

Adapted Dressage

Adapted Dressage has been a Paralympic discipline since 1996. The purpose and general principles are the same as in Classical Dressage, based on the harmony between rider and horse through which a series of movements of great difficulty are carried out that are pre-established in a text called reprise. The difference is that the participants are riders and Amazons who have some type of disability. Therefore, people with disabilities can find in the world of equestrian, a means to develop their abilities and utilities that they may not think they have.
