From June 19 to 27, the Spanish Ponies Championship was held at the CeCyL facilities, which this year has included in addition to Jump, Classic Dressage and CCE, with the discipline of Raid.
This year we have had 71 binomials that have represented us in these four disciplines, obtaining medals in each of them:
Brilliant Obstacle Jumping Results:
In the D1 Ponies category, Gonzalo Cebriá Prior, riding Fun Beauty, has achieved an individual bronze medal, demonstrating his great skill and dexterity. In addition, the mixed team “Catalunya-Balears”, formed by Carla Batalla with Pipo de la Vallarna, Biel Vallverdú with Negret and Aixa Martorell with Spyke, has won a bronze medal for teams in Ponis A1, showing excellent coordination and teamwork.
Outstanding Triumphs in Classical Dressage
In Doma Clàssica, our riders have achieved exceptional results both individually and in teams. In the category of Ponies A, Mar Sabater Valdibia with Black Label obtained the second position, followed by Alba Santiago Trujillo with Magistral de Janas in third position.
In Ponies B, Elsa Manzano Alavés, riding Airesdeandalucia Brandy, rose to the first position, highlighting her regularity during the three tests, with grades above 70%.
In Ponis C, Claudia Martín Daza with Xander Boslust achieved the first position, while Verónica Frutos Alavès with Claudia followed her in second position. Gala Devís Mall with Bonnie, in fourth position, was at the doors of the podium.
Ixone Lacunza Vázquez with Pippin's Playboy was unbeatable one more year, achieving the first position in Ponies D and with grades around 70% on the three days, very promising averages for the European Championship, to which he will go with the Spanish expedition
Achievements in Criterium Ponis DC:
In Criterium Ponis C, Arlet Circuns Soler with Iris Z was the winner as it was the only participant. In Criterium Ponis D, Chiara Llovera Gallo with Vegas obtained the first position, followed by Lucía Planas Rovira with Lorenzano in second position.
By teams, the FCH Sagrada Família Team, formed by Elsa Manzano Alavés with Airesdeandalucia Brandy, Alba Santiago Trujillo with Magistral de Janas, Ariane Alonso Fuentes with Happy Feet La Campana and Ixone Lacunza Vázquez with Pippin's Playboy, took the gold medal, after performing excellent tests. The AN-CT-VS Mixed team, formed by Ane Quintanilla Arnaiz with Capri, Arrietta Ruiz Goiri with Esferico, Lluïa Luna García with Lara Croft and Álvaro Sánchez Galán with Manchitas, won the bronze medal.
In fifth place was the FCH La Pedrera Team, composed of Mar Sabater Valdibia with Black Label, Gal·la Devís Mall with Bonnie, Cristina Autet Lacarcel with Danzarin and Piula Pot Joan with Tommy Shelby.
Achievements in the Complete Equestrian Competition (CCE)
In the category of Ponies A, Albert Valls Lop, riding Desi V Calveen, achieved an outstanding third position. In Ponies D, Martina Riba Agut with Luis stayed at the podium doors, achieving a well-deserved fourth position.
Marc Argemí with Stella's Yori who were part of the mixed team CT-GA-CB-VS managed to win team gold in Ponis B
Notable Participation in Raid
In the category of Ponies B, Enzo Comas Yebra, riding in Piua, won the gold medal both individually and in teams, demonstrating his excellent performance. The bronze medal went to Milan Comas Yebra, with the pony Moreta and Martina Perales Encarnado, riding in Palmira, obtained an outstanding seventh position. These three pairs also secured the gold medal for teams in this category.
In the CET-P *40Km category our representatives won gold for teams, in addition at the individual level Etna Llimiñana Soria with Reneta of Gredos won the silver medal, while Laia Rodriguez Vila, with the pony Terma de Masferrer, took the bronze medal. Júlia Capdevila Masó with Cas Dayna and Laia Garriga Solà with Donja finished in fourth and fifth position, respectively
The participation of our riders has been extraordinary, showing not only talent but also a great sporting spirit. This success would not have been possible without the effort and dedication of each of them, as well as the support of their coaches and families.
