The T.R.E.C. (Competition Equestrian Route Techniques) is a discipline that tries to bring together in a competition all the skills and difficulties that a horse and its rider must master, to enjoy a long walk or route through the field to the fullest. It does not require a high level of riding or physical fitness, so any rider who wishes can practice it. TREC can be practiced with any horse that meets the qualities of good temperament and good physical endurance. It consists of three tests: - Orientation and Regularity Test (POR) - Varied Terrain Test (PTV) - Aires Test (PAR).
