Seven countries earned their Olympic place at the 2022 World Equestrian Games (Germany, the United States, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland and France)
Three more seats will be allocated this year. Two for the nations taking first and second place at the upcoming European Championships in Le Pin, which will be in France in August.
Third place will be awarded to the winner of the 1st CEC Nations Cup 2023 FEI League.
The League consists of 8 events, the last being in October. For this event, Spain presents a team made up of:

* CARLOS DIAZ and TARAJE CP
* EDUARDO VIA DUFRESNE and MARIBERA POMES
In addition, there are 4 more binomials competing in the CCI 4* and will act as reserves, until the declaration of participants on Wednesday, March 8.

* MARÇAL PIRO and VOLNAY DE LA TREBILLE
