This weekend we had a lot of international presence as some of our binomials participated in the CDI of Le Mans, while others were at the CDI of Segovia.
The European Championships are approaching and the youngest riders begin to move to meet the minimum requirements to be selected (participation in two CDIs and the Masters of Selection).
In the Ponies category, the Amazon Ixone Lacunza made his first international start at the CDI of Le Mans, where he faced high-level competitors. He performed very good tests on all three days, managing to overcome several binomials that attended last year's European Ponies Championship and obtaining averages between 67% and 68%
In the Children category, Jeanette Vallvé and Zanon remained unbeatable all three days in Segovia, obtaining averages above 77%
In Juniors, Mireia Luz Konovalova stood out with Royal Thunder as one of the binomials that she achieved the most regularity, finishing in second position in the team event, first position in the individual test and finally, fourth position in the freestyle.
Elsa Bosch and Dean Martin started the competition with a third place in the individual test, but unfortunately the change of the competition tracks from indoor to outdoor did not help them and led them to make too many mistakes.
In the Young Riders category the level was very high, but our riders managed to get the podium in the team test.
Paloma Serrano and Ayrento finished in first position on the first day after a fantastic test in which they confirmed the level they had shown in Jerez. In the individual test, several failures caused him to drop to second position.
María Bech Salvatella and Showtime obtained a second position on the first day, however on the second day the competition was held on the outdoor track, and both had difficulty communicating during the test. Despite this, they were able to come back and finish the competition with a second place in the freestyle event.
Giovanni Torrens and Euroboy had great difficulties on the first day, but were able to solve them progressively, obtaining a third position on the second day and performing a very harmonious freestyle with which they achieved a first position.
Lourdes Aulet and Donscha had a fantastic test on the first day, with which they obtained the third position.
In Inter A and B Marçal Sabé remained unbeatable with Bolek during both days.
At the Grand Prix level Linda Swande and Baton Rouge C finished third in the Grand Prix test, and fourth in the Special Grand Prix
Cristina Wagemans obtained the fourth position in the Grand Prix test and first position in the Freestyle, after performing a fantastic execution of the same
Without a doubt a fantastic start to the international season for our riders.
