Medal of the Catalonia Ponies Championship 2023 - DC/CCE/SO

Despite being postponed by the rains at the beginning of October, last weekend more than 170 ponies from the disciplines of Dressage, Jump and CCE, gathered at the Catalan Ponies Championship, held at CAVA.

Dressage

The dressage discipline had 27 participants who traveled from all over Catalonia. The Mau Maus de Cava Horse team was proclaimed the winner by teams, followed by the team formed by Escola Poni Club and Golden Horse, who won the silver medal. The third position and bronze medal went to the Terra team of the Open Sports Club. In ponies D the only participant, and therefore winner, was Vassilissa Khmeleva with Beukenoord's Bonbon, while in ponies C the gold medal went to Julia Álvarez with Topsvoorter Subliem. Elsa Manzano and Airesdeandalucia Brandy were proclaimed winners in Ponies B and finally, in the category of Ponies A, the golden metal went to Afra Salon with Chanel.

This year the CCE discipline had 31 participants, among which the Casa Nostra Horse Center stood out, who managed to win the Gold and Bronze medal for teams. The silver went to the team Last Chance. In D2 ponies the winner was Laia Pineda with Little Princess, while in ponies D the gold medal went to Martina Riba with Luis. Gemma Lafitte and Apachee were proclaimed winners in Ponies C2, and Queralt Lara with Inyan achieved gold in Ponies C. In the category of Ponies B Queralt Peralta and Bob were proclaimed winners. Finally in the category of Ponies A, the golden metal went to Marc Argemín with Desi V Calveen

Salts

The obstacle jumping discipline was the one that had the largest number of participants, 115 binomials, who carried out fantastic tests and who demonstrated great projection for the future. Open Sports Clubs was proclaimed Champion and runner-up with the Pluto and Venus teams. Bosquerós closed the podium with bronze. In the category of Ponies D2, Gonzalo Cebriá riding Fun Beauty won the gold metal, accompanied on the podium by Martina Ramón with Moonlight and Isaac Reixach with Zaina. In Ponies C2 the gold medal went to Daniela Mato with Top Velane Floraly, while in Ponies C Gonzalo Cebriá repeated gold, this time with Platoon of St Ladre.

In Ponies B the first position went to Gabriela Veniss with Tempete de la Baie, while in ponies B2 Ada Torrelles and Xispa managed to top the classification. A Ponis A l'or was for Biel Vallverdú with Negret. Finally in Ponies A2 the gold metal went to Emma Sierra with Nana.
