The first two weeks of the Cerdanya Route end

Hundreds of binomials have met at the facilities of the Equestrian Center of Puigcerdà during the last half of July. The reason? The national and young horse competitions that have been organized in its renovated facilities of international level.

First Week - Lou Favede and Ariba Ter Elzen Z, winners of the Puigcerdà City Council Grand Prize

Lou Favede, riding in Ariba Ter Elzen Z, won the most important event of the CSN3* held during the first week of the Ruta de la Cerdanya (from July 17 to 23), winning the Grand Prix tiebreaker. Patricia Astiz and Dulcinee Platiere managed to obtain the second position, ahead of Laura Roquet and Cricket.

On Sunday the 7-year-old horse test had 10 participants. Two fantastic tours without fail and the best times served Laura Roquet to proclaim herself the winner with Opie Dopie Puigroc. María Gené was second riding in Cartagena, and Lou Favede was third with Gris Bouille.

The 1.30 m test was for María Xercavins who took first and second position riding in Girbau Jamaica and Karioka SP. Third place went to Lou Favede with Gahus des Copeaux.

 

Second week — Alfons and Laura Roquet, first and second place in the Coca-Cola Trophy Grand Prix

Alfons Roquet and Aristo de la Cour managed to proclaim themselves winners of the event, a very fast route and without penalty earned him the triumph against Laura Roquet and Cricket, who followed them closely. Primitivo Nieves and Jappes P&M ranked in third position in a test that had 25 participants binomials.

In the 7-year-old category María Gené and Cartagena managed to beat Laura Roquet and Opie Dopie Puigrok, who were proclaimed winners of the event in the previous week. Carmen Casan and Cervantes de Capellan closed the podium.

Pedro Antonio Mateos with Naroby Van de Fruitkorf was the best in the 1.30 m test. Laura Roquet achieved second place with Blitzz Z and Maria Xercavins and Karioka SP were third.

 

From Friday, lovers of the discipline will be able to enjoy more than one hundred and fifty starts on the track during Amateur Week. A fantastic opportunity for less experienced binomials to compete in facilities typical of an international event. From next Friday until Sunday, the facilities of the Puigcerdà Equestrian Club will host a territorial competition. This time it is a CST1* that has more than one hundred and fifty starts on the track. During the three days there will be a total of eight official daily tests with heights ranging from 0.20 to 1.20m.

Entrance to the sports complex will be open and will be free for all fans.
