The University of Lleida adds to its offer a Postgraduate Degree in therapy with horses

The postgraduate degree aims to train professionals in the field of health to acquire a global vision in order to improve physically and/or psychologically through prescribed techniques on the patient's condition.

Horse-Assisted Therapy is a complementary therapy to various disciplines in the world of health that uses the movement of the horse as a medium for therapeutic purposes.

The training activity consists of providing students, in addition to the introduction to the world of the horse in all its aspects, with the necessary knowledge both of the techniques applicable to the basic neuropathological state of the patient and in its qualitative variations and with the specificity of the motor responses of the different requests induced by the horse.

The postgraduate course will be taught on weekends in the classrooms of the University of Lleida for theoretical content, and in the population of Alcoletge on specific days.
