It is a competition full of challenges where equestrian skills and skills, orientation techniques and strategies and the physical and psychological endurance of the participants are tested during the night. The raid, 100 km, in two night stages, will have two categories: singles, couples. You can also compete in team format, but without a prize option. The participants, many of them from all over Europe and the Iberian Peninsula, will live a unique experience, combining riding on varied terrain, orientation techniques and challenging weather. Participants will have to demonstrate solid equestrian ability and navigation and decision-making abilities in a unique competition in which GPS navigation instruments are not available, and which will take place at night, without a moon (new moon), in order to test the skills of the participants in extreme conditions.

The Lluçanès is an ideal territory for lovers of equestrian tourism and raids, both endurance and TREC (in French, Techniques de Randonée Équestre de Compeétition). With an average height of 700 meters, without great differences in level, with paths that allow you to discover a rural and seré landscape, which cross a mosaic of forests, fields and farmhouses, crossing streams and following spectacular ridges.

The Raid is organized by the City Council of Prats de Lluçanès and the Club Hípic d'Olost, under the regulatory umbrella of theInternational Equestrian Tourism Federation(FITE) and with the collaboration of the Lluçanès Consortium, the Catalan Horse Riding Federation and the AMAC (Association of Horse Marches of Catalonia). It will have with a technical team various professionals from the equestrian world (blacksmiths, veterinarians) who will ensure the correct development of the race.

Prior to the race, a three-weekend Training Clinic has been organized to start, encourage and promote this equestrian specialty at the level of Catalonia. The training program has focused on fundamental aspects to be able to face the challenges posed by this discipline: Equestrian and Basics of Orientation/Integration of Skills and Endurance/Simulation of competition.
