The Spanish horseball team returned home with 4 medals, one for each of the categories: U16, U21, women and Elite, with teams made up mostly of riders and Catalan Amazons.
In the U16 category, the Spanish team won the bronze medal after a magnificent performance of the youngest. The team consisted of: Enrique Bergasa Corbella, Roc Buigas Llavayol, Pep Descamps Olivera, Pol Farrás Cunill, Álex Fortuny Masjuan, Francesca Masip Trullá, Roger Telrez Tarrés and Roser Teixidor Vicens.
In the U21 category, Spain achieved the silver medal after adding 10 points in the overall standings, closely following France who achieved victory with 11 points The team was made up of: Gonzalo Alarcón Crespo, Hug Arumí Castané, Aleix Crous Corominola, Albert Gifreu Pelayo, Ignacio Gutiérrez Sanz, Robert Planas Canaleta, Guillem Roig Royo and Ruth Solé Banal.
In the Women's category, the girls managed to impose their game and quality, winning the silver medal although they fought against the French team that won the Gold with only two points difference.
The women's team consisted of: Paula Bergasa Corbella; Marian España Díaz, Laura Font Risquez, Laura Guerrero Cañellas, Marlen Grundmann Adam, Irene Menéndez de Alvaré Lasheras, Ona Montmany Noguera, Leyre Vicioso Buigues.
In the Pro Elite category, the guys got the victory of all the games played, but due to the goal average, they finally got the silver medal, thus tying in points in France. The Catalans who made it up: Gil Carbonés Baldych, Adriá Crous Mart, Pau Crous Martí, Miquel Juliá Muñoz, Mateu Purtí Vila, Josep Salvatella Malagón, Nil Seall Hostau and Carles Vilá Fernández.
